Our Mini Rugby program is all about fun, friendship, and developing a lifelong love of sport. Designed for kids aged 3–12, our games-based approach builds fundamental movement and rugby skills in a safe, inclusive, and positive environment. Whether your child is brand new to rugby or already loves the game, they'll thrive through active play, teamwork, and structured skill development.

Grade 7 & 8 U14 5:30-6:45

The Hornets Minis program is a community-driven, volunteer-run initiative, and we rely on every family pitching in to help keep things running smoothly and costs low for all participants.

To support this, we require a $100 volunteer deposit per family at the beginning of the season. This deposit will be refunded once 5 volunteer hours have been completed.

Please bring your deposit in cash or check (made payable to Nanaimo Hornets RFC) at the first session.

Why do we ask for this?
Because we believe in building a strong, connected rugby community and that means everyone lending a hand where they can. Together, we create a fun, safe, and affordable environment for our young athletes to learn, grow, and love the game.
